PageNotes

PageNotes allows you to create a list of temporary webpage bookmarks with brief descriptions (notes) for later access. Sometimes when I'm surfing the web, I will run across a few pages that are fairly lengthy (primarily articles) which I'd love to read later but I don't want to bookmark them with my web browser. PageNotes allows me to create a temporary list of bookmarks (links to webpages) with brief descriptions for each webpage. The "Page" in "PageNotes" is the actual bookmark itself, and the "Notes" in "PageNotes" is the note which is attached to the bookmark used for giving a meaningful description of what the webpage contains.

Project Samples

To add an entry, paste a URL into the "Page" box, press tab, type a brief description in the "Note" box, then press "Enter."

PageNotes HTML in a web browser. It's very minimal and that's what I aim for.

You can copy the list for sending in an email (or whatever you'd like to do with the list).

An example of the generated HTML. Note the comment space at the top for storing data. The HTML file itself is a flat-file database.

Open selected pages in default web browser. Multiple pages will be opened in separate tabs.
