I just used this to merge two files with Windows 7 64 bit pro. Did not encounter any problems as described in earlier review.

Simply does not merge files. Maybe it does on somebody else's windows 7, but it's not rocket science - the user interface is implicit - load files to be merged, select join and click. It produces an empty file. 0 bytes. A huge waste of time.
