This 64 bit Developer edition of Pearl Linux OS is loaded with all software needed for a complete desktop experience. Built on new developers edition on Ubuntu with the kernel 4.3. Features the Gnome Flashback Environment with Compiz Effects as the default window manager.

Although the Ubuntu 16.04 release is still in development this version will not need replacing when it is officially released. This may give you an idea of what is to come. :-)

Most Pearl Linux releases are styled after the Snow Leopard OS X release from Mac. This is our goal anyway however we understand there are a lot of folks that are going with the current popular flat styled themes so we include some in this release.

Features

  • Based on the development version of the soon 16.04 release
  • Includes Internet software like Seamonkey and Skype
  • Mutlimedia Software includes KODI and SMPlayer
  • Pinguy Builder for Remastering ( moded remastersys )
  • Compiz Effects added Shift Switcher to Pearls compiz default settings
  • Updated Pearl Themes for 16.04
  • Added OS X flat themes from MacBuntu plus others
