I started work in this in highschool and had "finished" it afterwards, i have left off fixing it as its abilities are acceptable.
I wanted it to run 24hours a day, but windows 98 crashed after some 8hrs (BSOD), and win 2000 didnt make 20hrs (you may have better luck with WINE on linux). future ideas was to make it radio software.

Features

  • Programmed in VB6, have no interest in furthering it so i am giving it free. Being VB6 it may have issues with Vista or newer.
  • Add folders containing media files (add extensions if necessary beforehand on the Options page) and click file | begin
  • In the settings file, the first line is file extensions, next lines are folders to add by default.
  • Plays registered files randomly and files will not be played again until a specific number or % has been played.
  • Can be set to play files between 5% and 220% speed so you can fly through your lectures or listen "nightcore" style. When the speed is changed your bordom for the song is lost (feels new again) which is why "nightcore" is popular.
