ProTextYou 2.0

ProtextYou is an application for devices running the Android operating system, designed to provide an easy, user-friendly means for users to protect sensitive information in a variety of ways. More specifically, the application has the ability to hide Short Message Service and Multimedia Messaging Service messages, phone call logs, and user contacts and contact lists. Additionally, the user is provided the ability to send and receive RSA encrypted text messages and images within the application. The application can also access the user’s Short Message Service messages and replace certain keywords with alternative user-specified words. Finally, a feature to store password-protected notes is included in the app. Users may adjust for how long information on their phone stays hidden and may set a password to be required upon restoration of information to the device.
