    this is not a free project, some of the libraries are shareware!

    The shareware add-ons/plugins are not needed if you are OK with the freely available drivers. No need to install those additional plugins. The majority of the drivers is open source and free.

    Upon attempted download of Pstoedit on 2018-11-27 via Chrome, Windows Defender intercepted it before the download completed and reported the virus as Trojan:Win23/Vigorf.A

    No work, and not the entire code is open. The kit has a closed-source add-ons, which makes the program extremely doubtful for use in the office.

    You can use pstoedit without the "closed source add-ons". No problem at all.
