Given its lightweight size and system requirements, Remix OS for PC is well suited to be installed on a USB drive (8GB+) and used as a portable workspace securely containing the user’s documents and apps. I have been using Remix for 2 years on 3 devices and have very little problems.

An wonderful project that looks like it was quickly abandoned. The idea of re-engineering the interface was just an excellent one. But it looks like after creating this, it has been mostly abandoned. I don't understand whose decision that was, but it was a really bad one. It still has potential and could easily become the new version of Linux that can become a bridge between tablets and pcs. Unfortunetly the company seems to have just ignored the project and ignored the possibilities that it offers.

A GREAT project that brings ANDROID to any PC! I don't have a recent android phone, and needed access to android apps. Installed in my windows laptop, the installer APP created a DUAL BOOT, and it runs smoothly!! It needs some new features, like dragging apps and emulating the MOUSE on some games, but it works very nicely! I will have a windows 10 tablet soon, i will install REMIX OS on it so i can dual boot with ANDROID and Windows! :D

I understand RemixOS was designed to give people a feel for purchasing Kickstarter Remix IO plus but Jide hasn't come out with any fixes for their RemixOS not working from, installing to PCs much less working from usb thumb drives!!!! We aren't even given the option to buy the Remix IO, plus at all! It seemed Jide had a good product they let slip through their hands! Many comments for support have been asked for and Jide has completely ignored their base people who were to give the RemixOS and products a thumbs up! Until further support this RemixOS and REMIX IO PLUS is "DEAD IN THE WATER!!!!!!"
