NOTE: These scripts are a work in progress. I created them for my own purposes,but decided to put them out into the world.

ripdvd.sh

BASH script that simplfies the process of ripping of a movie DVD to an ISO file.

Required installed tools:

dvdbackup
genisoimage

It's a work in progress and currently is in a very raw state.


ripdvd_tv.sh

I have also started a project to create a script to symplify the ripping of a TV show DVD to a collection of MP4 files. This script is way more complex and has many more features.

Required installed tools:

dvdbackup
lsdvd - I have found a bug and solved it. Will post the fixed code soon.
ffmpeg - with modules libx264,libmp3lame , optional libfdk_aac


pp.sh - NOTE FUNCTIONING

As a part of part of the ridvd_tv project, I am creating a BASH module to support POSIX compliant shell paramters. Both , full and abriviated parameters.
