Thanks for the nice library! I have been checking the code and trying to make it work with a project in Windows but I seems that read/write timeout is not implemented yet. Are there any updates for this? Has anyone used the library in Linux? Thanks!

About a perfect replacement for Microsoft Serial port. I used this component to solve the well known ioexception issue of the microsoft library. The MIT licence allowed to me to make some changes to fit my needs. Thanks!!

Fixed some nasty performance issues I was having using the .NET 3.5 SP1 native SerialPort class. Almost a drop-in replacement! Very nice.
