TWOPV.xlsm is a macro enabled Excel workbook for calculating stress and strain in a thick-wall cylindrical pressure vessel under external hydrostatic pressure. Vessel walls are a special case orthogonal composite laminate having a 2:1 ratio of circumferential to longitudinal oriented laminae. Inputs are: 1) unidirectional composite (UDC) properties, 2) cylinder radii and 3) pressure.
