I've been trying to develop an idea of a project, but the wide range of possibilities with all their outcomes, cons and pros and whatnot got my mind overloaded. There was no way I could keep or process that much information with my bare mind. So, I've checked the mind mapping tools available in the market, both free and commercial ones, yet they were either clunky or overkilling for my needs. Thus, I've made my own thing, and decided to share it with everyone who might find it useful for their own things...
Features
- allows mind-mapping in shape of an horizontal tree
- highlights the path towards the selected node, and the nodes on the way till there
- tries to open resource from absolute or relative path or web-based url when provided (for example ./treemind32.png or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOeig6_aAtE)
- recognized resources (as long as browser supports too): bmp, jpeg, jpg, png, svg, gif, webp, webm, mov, ogg, mp4, mp3, wav, wave, aac
- lets saving and loading the map as encrypted binary file (doesn't save any resources)
- and provides a few color themes for different tastes
- tree can be 16 nodes long, and each node can have up to 8 nodes (except the last one)
- no installation is required (works via browsers)
