These files will help readers of the blog entry at [] understand how to use the SAP IDM VDS in failover mode. Note that from the initial release there are 3 files:
failover group.xml - this is the actual failover config
file failover_test.xml - this is failover test ALPHA
failover_test_Bravo.xml - this is failover test BETA.
A few notes before using these files.
1-Make sure that you change the settings for database and server locations to fit your config. Both failover_test and failover_test_Beta need read access to the SAP IDM database and the HR_Sample table. Failover group.xml will need to be updated to reflect the IP addresses of in the failover test files.
2-If you try to adjust the failover group config, it can be somewhat tricky. Please consult the blog entry at [] for advice on changing the enable status of the groups.
