Sked is a personal organizer, calendar, schedule and braindump application with a wiki-like syntax for text formatting and organization. It is easier think of it as the merge of a calendar with a desktop wiki.

A very concise and readable wiki language
Fast and unobstrusive workflow
Scalable: databases may grow to thousands of entries without performance degradation
Full Unicode support, so it may be used with any written language
Keyboard macros provide shortcuts for frequently used text fragments
Everything stills being text, so it may be copied and pasted, sent by email, etc.
Safe: entries are saved automatically
Secure: the database is encrypted
Entries may be exported as XML and imported back
Portable: runs on Unix (Linux, *BSDs, Mac OS X) and Windows
