Prompt Sloth is a browser extension that transforms simple or “lazy” prompts into detailed, high-quality instructions suitable for AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. It functions like a “Grammarly for prompts,” operating in any text box across your browser, enhancing clarity, context, role setting, and output structure. Users can invoke ready-to-use templates by typing shortcuts, which expand into polished prompt stubs tailored for specific tasks and styles. It also supports one-click actions that suggest improvements like adding specificity, context, or constraints to a prompt. Prompt Sloth includes a library of over 500 curated prompt templates for varied use cases (content, code, analysis, etc.). It lets users save favorite templates as shortcuts and works across different AI platforms. While it’s currently free, a credit-based premium tier is planned. The design emphasizes usability, with no signups or APIs required.
