Engineering teams, CTOs, delivery managers and organizations scaling software development
About Q247
Q247 is a software productivity analytics platform designed to help organizations understand real engineering effort — without employee surveillance, time tracking, or micromanagement. Instead of measuring hours, activity noise, Q247 introduces Coding Calories: a metric that reflects the actual cognitive and technical energy spent on software delivery, including both code and no-code work. Q247 aggregates data from development, planning, and documentation tools to show where engineering energy truly goes — delivery, coordination, or process friction. This allows teams to distinguish real overload from systemic inefficiencies and enables fair, data-driven performance conversations.
The platform is built for team- and organization-level insights by default.
Q247 helps leaders move discussions about productivity from opinions and pressure to facts and context — supporting performance with fairness.

"Useful. Tracks AI Adption." Posted 2026-03-08
Pros: - objective productivity tracking
- easy to track AI adoption by teams
- historical data overview vs. present performance (supported by AI)
- talent management - tracking the top performers and best employees using common metrics (calories)
- lack of resources / peaks of utilisation monitoring.Cons: integration with MS Teams - meetings are not included in metrics. (as of now).
Overall: Must have - if you want to track productivity, manage talents, optimise allocation and track AI adoption. Many other ways for organisations to use it are available - it depends on how you adopt Q247 within your processes.
