Pros: 1. Easy to use and understand - not a big learning curve
2. It easily lays out all aspects of the MYP unit planner making the planner easy and take less time to construct over using a template - I did an MYP workshop without Toddle and putting the planner together was a long and difficult process - Toddle makes it easy and user friendly
3. You can share the unit planner with multiple teachers teaching the same course
4. You can add links/upload your own documents
5. It has a Grade book that can change the marks over to percentages for you - my school does not have the Grade book yet but will implement it in September. I am looking forward to this as converting the grades manually takes extra time and can sometimes leave debate as to what percentage to assign

Cons: 1. When you add a link it gives an alternate link for your document - if you have uploaded a Google Doc, for example, changes made to the doc will not show up on the Toddle link
2. Sometimes I find it difficult to make links. It won't put the number of bullet where you want it and it is hard to adjust the location of the bullet or number

Overall: Overall, I am happy with Toddle. I did a workshop on how to do unit planners and I used a paper unit planner template. With Toddle, it makes a daunting task easy by easily laying out all sections of the planner with checkboxes etc for ATL skills and other items.

Pros: Listening to their customers is their most valued aspect in my opinion. Our school started using their platform last year. All of my personal concerns were remedied: posting past assignments, attendance does not need to be Submitted ( it is done automatically) I also like the Toddle AI for helping me with planning some activities.

Cons: At this point, I don’t really have any aspect I don’t like. I only use what I need and I find it quite sufficient.

Overall: Without repeating myself, based on my points I made in the previous sections, I am satisfied. It reduces mental clutter
Toddle brings curriculum, assessments, feedback, and communication into one place. That “everything in order” feeling can be surprisingly satisfying—especially if you’re juggling classes, like your French courses

Pros: Student portfolios & real-time learning evidence

Cons: At first, it was a bit difficult to navigate when showing attaching evidence to the lessons.

Overall: It is a great planning tool. I like the AI and library of lesson plans. It really gives us a chance to collaborate as a school when we all have different things going on.

Pros: I liked how everything is laid out. Everything is very user-friendly, and everything seems to be very organized.

Cons: Toddle sometimes requires too many steps to complete simple tasks, which can be frustrating during a busy school day.

Overall: I’ve had a generally positive experience using Toddle, especially for managing curriculum and documentation.

Pros: It basically gives a second IB Coordinator to our school. Our teachers love the suggestions and access to the unit library.

Cons: The cost, it's tough to fund at this time in politics. I wish our units just transferred over every year without me having to repopulate them.

Overall: Toddle has helped us build our IB curriculum with ease. It was very valuable during the evaluation process.

Pros: Toddle is a fantastic product for IB schools on multiple levels. It provides all the elements for planning and implementing both DP and MYP programs. The AI component for planning is incredibly helpful in helping teachers transform existing units into MYP and DP units. In addition, the staff was incredibly supportive and helpful in our transition to Toddle and the training was top notch.

Cons: There are no cons from an administrative point of view.

Overall: Our experience with Toddle has been an easy transition with positive outcomes. The engagement of scholars and teachers with the tool is high. The ease of unit and lesson planning, grading assessments and transition from year to year make this a superior product to other LMS systems. The AI component is incredibly helpful and a huge time saver.

Pros: • Deep IB Integration: The way Toddle adapts to everything the International Baccalaureate (IB) offers and requires is impressive. It truly feels built for the framework.
• Seamless Continuity: I love how easy it is for teachers to access their classes from previous years and import units. It saves a massive amount of planning time.
• Innovative AI Tools: The inclusion of AI is a great addition that helps streamline many administrative and creative tasks.
• Efficiency Features: The keyboard shortcuts are a fantastic touch for power users, making navigation within the platform much faster.
• Incredibly Comprehensive: It is a very "complete" tool; you can manage almost every aspect of the curriculum in one place.

Cons: • Management of Learning Experiences: There isn't a tool to detect duplicate learning experiences, which can lead to cluttered planning. Additionally, you cannot specify details by language within a single learning experience—a major drawback for tri-lingual schools like ours that share the same experiences across different languages.
• UI/UX for Younger Students: The interface is not particularly friendly for small children. For example, the folder tagging system is not intuitive for them to use independently.
• Limited Workbooks: Compared to other dedicated virtual worksheet tools, Toddle’s workbooks feel insufficient and lack the depth offered by competitors.
• Parent Experience: While the platform is great for teachers, parents do not have a good interface when accessing Toddle from a computer.
• AI Growing Pains: The AI can sometimes be "too wordy" or verbose. I have also encountered technical glitches when trying to add AI-generated rubrics directly into a learning experience.

Overall: Toddle is arguably the most comprehensive platform for IB schools today. Its ability to align with the curriculum and its "quality of life" features for teachers—like unit importing and keyboard shortcuts—make it a powerful ally in the classroom. However, it still has room to grow regarding its user interface for students and parents. If they can refine the AI's conciseness, fix the rubric integration, and offer more flexibility for multi-language environments, it would be nearly perfect. For now, it is a top-tier tool that requires a bit of a learning curve for the youngest users.

Pros: It is a one stop shop for all the things to create real world projects for students. Giving them autonomy to be creative.

Cons: In the beginning it can be hard to figure all the things out.

Overall: I love looking at what others have done. It has a library full of things that others have done that can give you a springboard.

Pros: 1. Extremely intuitive and easy to use.
2. Toddle Buddy support is responsive and always provides practical solutions or workarounds.
3. Effortless download and management of grades and comments for ToK and EE.
4. Excellent student-facing design—students find it just as easy to use as teachers do.

Cons: 1. Some initial trial and error when getting started, which is to be expected with any new platform.
2. Not a Toddle issue, but schools with cell phone restrictions may face challenges. The Chromebook camera can be unreliable, so I’ve found the best AI grading results come from scanning student work and uploading PDFs. It’s less time-efficient but produces consistently clear images for AI grading.

Overall: An outstanding experience. Using Toddle’s AI grading, I’ve been able to cross-reference AI-generated scores and comments to refine and standardize my own grading practices.

Pros: Toddle has been one of the most teacher-centered platforms I have used in my 25+ years of working in IB schools across different countries.

I have also used other platforms like ManageBac for many years, and while they serve a purpose, they often lack flexibility and responsiveness. Toddle fills that gap beautifully.

Cons: One area of improvement would be better organization of stored teaching materials over time.

Currently, folders are often created in a generic way (e.g., “Toddle”), which makes it difficult to:

Revisit past student work
Retrieve evidence from previous years
Organize resources across multiple grades and subjects

A more structured system (for example: year-wise, subject-wise, or unit-wise organization) would greatly enhance long-term usability for teachers working across multiple years.

Overall: I have been using Toddle for the past 4–5 years, and it has genuinely transformed the way I document, assess, and reflect on student learning.

What makes this experience even more meaningful for me is seeing a platform developed with roots in Ahmedabad, India — a place I personally connect with — now supporting international schools globally. Pros: I love being able to gather ideas from other IB teachers. Being able to get other PYP unit plans and learning experiences.

Cons: Wish we didn't have to pay for some learning experiences

Overall: I have been using toddle since COVID 2020 and I think its great. I enjoyed using it to help plan my online units and came back to tell my peers all about it.

Pros: Toddle is the most user-friendly and intuitive platform out there. It has nearly everything that a school needs such as unit planning; lesson creation and delivery (whether a learning experience or assessment); class grade books; progress reports; behavior management; attendance; usage and informational insights, AI support for teachers and AI interface for students; and apps for educators, parents, and students. Toddle is very supportive. They have designated individual and corporate support people for each school and the response time is always within 24 hours, with the usual being within the school day. They will do a lot of the leg work behind the scenes that you may not have time to complete on the front side. They listen to your feedback and truly appreciate it, as any growing and learning company should value it.

Cons: There are few cons about Toddle. I'd like to see the apps improved with more functionality. I'd like to see Toddle add in a class scheduler for secondary schools. I believe the price is great for the value received. I do hope that it can be made available to more schools in under-privileged areas so that they can enjoy the benefits as well.

Overall: This is the #1 product for schools. I love Toddle. I love their people. I could see myself working for them some day because they are that special. You absolutely need Toddle if you are a school looking for transformation!
