I thought that you knew that when you right-click on an entry in KeePass the pop-up menu includes an entry "URLs". I found one that does not have that entry in the pop-up menu. I won't explicate why I did not write down the name of that entry, other than that I was stressed by a horrible chat session with Amazon until finally a senior agent said that she would report the programming error. That is why I started the chat session, which I thought would only take a few moments; would that that was how...
I just found one correct entry, with one exception, as it does not list the URLs. Does anyone have some unused ones that I could add to this KeePass entry?
I tried that site a few days ago;the site provided no helpful information for me. I do not have Dropbox on my Android phone, nor do I need to have it; Keepass2Android worked that way for years, and now it finally does again. See my message about success that I posted a few moments ago. How this works I don't know and don't care, I only care that it does work.
I have, and shall likely always have, not the slightest idea why yesterday, on my third or fourth try that day to install the app using my Dropbox account as the source for the app, and after a few steps, I was finally looking at my Keepass passwords in Keepass2Android. This did not work many times over several previous days, which becoming quite bothersome, but to paraphrase Shakespeare, All's Well That Ends.
The error I am getting is that I cannot finish installing the Android version of KeePass, and I don't know why. I don't use either onedrive or google drive. In my PC's Dropbox there is a folder with only one entry, a copy of my PC KeePass data base, renamed android.kdbx to remind me what the file is. I have tried many times to finish installing the Android version of KeePass, to absolutely no avail. As I just posted here a moment ago, I have no recollection of having to tell the Android app to contact...
Thanks, but nothing there of help: I don't want to access my Dropbox files, I want the Android program to do so, just as it did with Android 13 for several years. Again, I have no idea whatsoever how I did that; in fact, now that I ponder this, I am at least somewhat certain that I did not do anything. With the Android version of KeePass installed, it would always access my PC Dropbox Android KeePass data file when I opened the app and it sensed that the Dropbox file had been updated. The problem...
Sadly, your site did not help me, at least at first, but as I had never been there I don't even really know what to search for, alas. I just cannot, on my own, figure out how to get the app to use my PC data base, but I did see on the site you provided that there was some sort of problem with Android 13, but that entry was far beyond my ken. I have no recollection of having had any difficulty doing that previously, but I cannot even remeber if I might have had the Android app installed before I used...
I rather thought it obvious that KeePass did not maintain an Android app, but what I DID know was that I could beg someone here to help me with my quandary. I did so, you took pity on me. Quest solved with my thanks.
