I did a clean install of NPP 7.5.9, installed the Plugin Manager plugin, installed AnalysePlugin from the Plugin Manager, and now it works. I then grabbed the 1.12 R39 dll and dropped it into the plugin folder and this is working as well. There's something about NPP 7.6+ on my machine that isn't playing nice with AnalysePlugin. It no doubt has something to do with the changes to how plugins are loaded in 7.6+ versions.
The Plugin Manager does show the plugin installed with the correct version 1.12.39. I also tried putting the dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins with the xml and ini files. Still no luck.
Unfortunately the issue wasn't fixed with R39 for me. I put the new x86 dll into %AppData%\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins. I also copyied a backup of AnalysePlugin.ini and AnalysePlugin.xml into the Notepad++\plugins\ and Notepad++\plugins\config\ folders. Still no luck. Just to be clear, 1.11 installed via the Plugin Manager isn't working either.

I just upgraded NPP to 7.6.2 and now the plugin doesn't work and there aren't any errors. I completely uninstalled NPP and then reinstalled 7.6.2 and still nothing. The Plugin Manager has AnalysePlugin shown as installed, but it doesn't show up. It is not listed in the Plugins Admin. The dll is in %appdata%\Roaming\Notepad++\plugins.
I don't know what GUI system NP++ is built on, but doesn't the Windows API have a standard color wheel UI widget? Attached is the Visual Studio 2015 color picker. Simple and effective.
