VeraCrypt
Had just exactly the same here. Windows 10, data partition on internal drive encrypted with Bitlocker. Decrypted it. Encrypt with VeraCrypt v1.24u7. At 66% or so VC error message "Write Protected". Same on any action. Windows said: Encrypted by bitlocker. Tried again to decrypt with Bitlocker, "Device not ready". Volume Manager also said Bitlocker encrypted. Same results from a second Windows, no success.

With gcc version 4.9.0 (i686-posix-sjlj-rev1 and newer boost version: No problem...
