Summary: FreeS/WAN not functioning

Initial Comment:
I don't see in /proc/net ipsec_* files so it seems to 
me that FreeS/Wan is not part of the kernel : 

/# /etc/init.d/ipsec start 
ipsec_setup: Starting FreeS/WAN IPsec 1.91... 
ipsec_setup: kernel appears to lack KLIPS 

/# /etc/init.d/ipsec status 
IPsec running 
but... 
orphaned Pluto running! 
KLIPS module is not loaded! 

/# ipsec look 
sg-fw Mon Aug 27 19:28:01 UTC 2001 
cat: /proc/net/ipsec_spigrp: No such file or directory 
cat: /proc/net/ipsec_eroute: No such file or directory 
egrep: /proc/net/ipsec_tncfg: No such file or 
directory 
/usr/lib/ipsec/look: paste: command not found 
sort: /proc/net/ipsec_spi: No such file or directory 

Using V-0.43 (and V-0.42), I'm sure i have missed 
something ?

Leider ist dies nicht m=F6glich, da das Image des 2.4er Kernels in unserer =

ausf=FChrung nicht mehr auf eine floppy passt.......

alter 486er kann n=E4mlich noch nicht von CD booten :-/

- Added support for selecting keyboard layout
    -> option KEYBOARD_LAYOUT in /etc/sysconfig/config

- moved the start of syslog-ng after the network setup
- Patched FreeS/WAN 1.91 to work with Kernel 2.4.9

    - Changed the following IDE options in the Kernel configuration
	- Use multi-mode by default (disabled)

- added /etc/profile to setup some defaults (e.g. aliases)
- added /etc/inputrc (stolen the SuSE version ;-) ) to correct console =

- Added Phystech's RoadRunner Login Client Daemon for Linux v1.3.3 as =
package
- Recreated devics in /dev to correct ownership problems
- Added No-IP Client to base system
- Patched FreeS/WAN to support X.509 Certificates
- Updated Kernel to 2.4.8
- Added Roaring Penguin PPPoE redirector v3.2 as package
- Added missing /usr/lib/pppd to pppd package
- Patched pppd with ppp-2.4.1-pppoe.patch4 to enable Kernel-Mode PPPoE =

- Added /etc/Devil-release which holds version information
- Removed duplicate binaries (overwritten by Busybox): tar
- Removed depmod, modinfo, rpcinfo, rpcgen
- Added Busybox applets ifconfig, route, traceroute and removed the =
original binaries
- Extended /etc/modules.conf
- Updated STunnel to v3.17
- Updated BusyBox to v0.60.0=09

Ignore this one, it's only a test.
