  • 'Mal∕HTMLGen-A' has been found at this website. ***Update 26/6/2016 Okay, I have rectified the problem. Sophos Antivirus detected it as a false positive. Add in the IP address 103.1.138.150 to the Web Protection Exceptions list and you are good to go.

  • Just fantastic! This resolves all the issues of using E-APO on a scaled up high resolution display. Thanks, Peter!!!

  • Outstanding! Love it. I have good speakers and sub bass unit, but this is the cherry on the cake! Thank you. JB

  • Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! I've been looking for something like this for months. Believe it or not Spotify for the desktop doesn't come with an EQ and I make playlists for special functions.

  • I jumped too early in to conclusions for getting a false virus report. I was wrong and I admit it. Great software!

  • I have been looking forever for a functional EQ for windows that is system wide since my USB sound card leaves much to be desired. This piece of software is so easy to use yet feature rich enough for anyone to use. Highly customizable visually as well as functionally. All changes are made real time, even the visual ones. Best of all no noticable lag added to my pc at all. And amazingly there is even a help/support button that connects you to a better help guide than many big vendor manufacturers. Great job to the individual(s) that created it. I dont know what more anyone can need EQ wise.

  • This is a wonderful GUI for the APO project. The design is very easy to understand and that is important. However, I do have two suggestions in case Peter is reading. I am using this to switch between headphone use (flat) and computer speaker use (lower bass). The presets are not necessary, so I deleted them to make it easier to find the two that I use. When I open the equalizer again, it creates the deleted presets again. It would be nice to have deleted presets to not come back. The other suggestion I have would be to register the .peace extension and allow us to create a shortcut to our desired preset so we can double-click it from the desktop and apply it instantaneously. Thanks to the creator of this great little interface! Update: My first suggestion of not installing the presets every time is already implemented. Go to Settings and uncheck the box titled "Default equalizer configurations are installed at program startup". Thanks, Peter, for responding to this review so quickly!

  • This GUI is the only one I found that truly does the iommense power and flexibility of the Equaliser APO. Easy to set up and easy to use, while allowing almost any tweeks to the power that can be imagined. EQ any one speaker and then an overall EQ as well. Add new bands almost unlimited. Unbelievable overlay on the E-APO. Nick

  • I switched out my high end receiver for a USB DAC and outside of iTunes could not equalize. This project plus APO enabled me to tune the sound exactly to what I wanted no matter what the source. Thanks Peter for the excellent work and for sharing this!!!

  • Pretty.f-ing.awesome! Installation forced me to be a little smarter than I wanted, but stretching the brain a bit is good exercise. Thanks a ton, Peter Verbeek, for turning Equalizer APO into a user-friendly program for non-techies like me.

  • Terrific! I had gotten pretty good at editing the text files for E-APO so I didnt really think I needed this GUI. I was wrong...this thing is wonderful.Worked perfectly and was easy to setup the interface exactly how I wanted. And I was able to easily make seperate setups for headphones. E-APO and Peace are indesposible for me. Thank you to both developers. :)

  • First off, I can't believe windows doesn't come with an equalizer built-in by now. Second, I applaud the guys who made EqualizerAPO, but at the same time I can't believe Equalizer APO was released without a GUI. I know it's easy to sit on my butt and complain, but making an equalizer graphical is something that became standard circa the early 1970's. I think this wonderful GUI should be integrated into the same install package with the main program. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is, when I tried to install it, it said it couldn't find the config file and just exited right away, even though I knew for sure I had installed EAPO first... Turns out the executable itself had to be located in the directory where the config file resided. A note about this (from within the app) would have been appreciated. Also, sometimes intermittently when I move the sliders, the sound switches between sounding great with good EQ, and sounding muddy like it does with no EQ. But all in all, a great project!

  • A spectacular GUI for Equalizer APO. Together they make up an extremely powerful combination that give you total control of your filters. I'm a huge fan! Thank you so much for making this available to us!

  • Had to register to open an account.....so that I could thank Jonas for producing such a fantastic product to work within Windows 7. I was really missing an Equalizer with the OS. I'll keep an eye for updates. Larger software companies would be charging $$$ for this sort of product!.

  • Registered just to rate this. Been using Equalizer APO for a long time now, but Peace is amazing. If you listen to music on windows and don't have a soundcard (or maybe even if you do?) definitely use this and APO!

  • Top notch! Using Peace GUI with Equalizer APO (32 bit). Exactly what I was looking for. Thumbs up and thanks to the developer of both these excellent projects!

  • Compared to the recommended option for using Equalizer APO (Room EQ Wizard), this method is a lot more intuitive to use and lightweight. While the UI may seem a little dated and hard to understand at first, the entirety of the functions of the two screens of this app (!) becomes clear after only a few minutes of tinkering around This app does everything you'd expect it to, which I won't elaborate here (read the app description) Overall an awesome app

  • Asus Xonar Essence One = piece of crap [SOLVED] ! :o) When I first got the Essence One external headphone amp I thought it sounded like a piece of crap because you could not use the Asus Audio Center audio software like the quality equalizer. I had used the Asus Xonar Essence STX internal soundcard for few years before, always with Asus Audio Center + Sennheiser HD600 headphones and it is best sound I ever heard on my computer. I tried many windows Equalizers softwares as I could to try to overcome the problem but gave up because none sounded good enough. I thought I may have to throw the Essence One off a high bridge onto concrete in disgust. But 6+ months later Peace, GUI for Equalizer APO has saved its life and my $. This software make Equalizer APO more user friendly. It makes excellent sound, the same if not better than the high quality Asus equalizer.
