python-telegram-bot is a library that provides a pure Python interface for the Telegram Bot API. It supports all types and methods of the API 4.8, and is compatible with all Python versions 3.5+ as well as PyPy.

Apart from the pure API implementation, python-telegram-bot also offers several high-level classes contained in the telegram.ext submodule. These make bot development much easier and straightforward. python-telegram-bot is free and open source, fun to use, and fast and easy to install.
