That's why I would wait till 2.6 with devfs: http://kt.zork.net/kernel-traffic/kt20011217_146_print.html#6 They keep changing it over an over and from other threads I've knowledge (sorry no links - maybe http://lwn.net) that devfs is really buggy. So for me it's a NO-NO. -- MfG / Regards Friedrich Lobenstock ____________________________________________________________________ Friedrich Lobenstock FL226-RIPE Internetservices URL: http://www.fl.priv.at/ Email: fl...@fl... ____________________________________________________________________ |

Hi, could be interesting for some of you: MRTG-eth-probe v1.5.4 by Mario Witte mar...@ch... < http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/mrtg-eth/ > Platforms: Linux Size: 0 Kb Score: Not scored yet MRTG-eth-probe provides a probe for the Multi Router Traffic Grapher, generating statistics for network devices that do not support the SNMP protocol. It reads interface stats from /proc/net/dev (or some other file you configure), and generates an output suitable for MRTG by parsing the file. Reading of remote data via SSH is supported. cu Heiko |

For all developers out there I'd suggest installing the

export PS1 PATH
alias l='ls -la'
export DL_DIR=/build

TIMEZONE="Europe/Vienna"
if test -n "$TIMEZONE" -a -x /usr/sbin/zic ; then
echo -n "Setting up timezone data..."
/usr/sbin/zic -l $TIMEZONE && echo "done." || echo "failed."
fi
echo
echo Changing to /build
cd /build
echo 'Type "make<ENTER>" to see possible options'

This email is to inform you of release '1.65' of 'Syslinux' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/syslinux/ The changes in this release are as follows: Version 1.65 greatly improves the ability to boot legacy operating systems. It includes a new tool, MEMDISK, that can boot most legacy operating systems from an in-memory image that can be loaded using any standard Linux bootloader. It also includes native support for BIOS emulation (if the BIOS is working properly) in ISOLINUX. Additionally, this release fixes some longstanding bugs with extremely large ramdisk images in PXELINUX and ISOLINUX.
